Myth-making and language invention combine in Nod's Way, the Author's Edition, a new version of the fantasy divination system by Robert Stikmanz. Resetting the ancient wisdom book of his fictional people, the Dvarsh, as an actual work of their literature, the author has released the full text of this unique system of divination play in the Dvarsh language, with accompanying English. Like his earlier title, Dvarsh, An Introduction, the book operates exactly as it appears on the surface, but also at a deeper level. Divided into 36 short chapters, or "auspices," Nod's Way is revered within its culture as a mystery poem, a life guide, and a basis for divination; however, Nod's Way, the Author's Edition is also an artifact of the "participatory fiction" Stikmanz continues to weave around his invented language. As an opening to the wider Stikmanz world, or a gamemaster's find among a scenario's ruins, as a book length work in a constructed language, however one counts, this is a title genuinely unlike any other.
