This volume includes a novella and a short story set in the fictional universe of Robert Stikmanz. The novella, Rose Moon, is a lyrical, erotically charged, psychedelic mashup, weaving shifting realities, passionate sex and a battle between ancient gods into a post-petroleum future. Set fifty years on, the short story, "Death on the Toilet," finds the same protagonist from Rose Moon tapped by necessity to substitute for doom itself.
