Alexander Stewart is the Archival Director for the Pan-African Pentecostal Archive and a doctoral student in Religious and Theological Studies at William Seymour College in Lanham, Maryland. Stewart is a deacon in the Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith, the denomination that Lawson founded, he has contributed collections to the Smithsonian Institute and the Schomburg Collection of the New York Public Library.
