Robert Louis Stevenson was born in Edinburgh in 1850 and died in 1894. He studied at Edinburgh University and then went on to become a novelist, poet and travel writer. RLS wrote prolifically and among his most well known works are The Strange Case of Doctor Jekyll and Mr Hyde and Treasure Island . Gary McNair is a multi-award-winning writer and performer from Glasgow who aims to challenge and entertain in equal measure.
