Patricia L. Stevenson is a contemporary American poet, editor, and writer. As a poet, she favors 'free verse'. She is a native of Florida, but has also lived in Louisiana, Pennsylvania, and North Carolina, as well Australia for a short time. A graduate of the Pennsylvania State University, she has worked as a technical writer in the nuclear and medical equipment industries. She has also been a poetry editor for most of the past decade. She began writing poetry as a child. This is her first complete collection.


She has had poems published in a variety of print and online newsletters and anthologies. Additionally, Ms. Stevenson has written many articles and editorials on poetry as an editor and poet. In 2015, she had the honor of interviewing Peter Meinke, soon after his appointment as Poet Laureate of Florida. Ms. Stevenson testified at State Legislative hearings to plead passage of the revised bill for Florida's Poet Laureate during the 2014 Legislative Session. Ms. Stevenson has been featured on radio and television discussing poetry in Florida and specifically in Tallahassee.
