It's the week before Christmas and a serial killer is on the loose in New York City. Veteran New York City cop Carl Jablonski is shot while parked in Central Park. He survives, but is forced to retire. Two years later, disabled and with his marriage crumbling, Carl realizes he can now "see" weapons that will be used in future crimes. This unique ability leads him to a world beyond his comprehension where the military balance between the U.S. and Russia lies in his hands.
