Prosocial behaviour is a form of behaviour that is voluntarily carried out in order to provide benefits for others. In this book, Chapter One includes a theoretical review, highlighting different studies investigating some aspects present in prosocial behavior. Chapter Two analyzes prosocial behavior from a social psychology point of view, examines the theoretical contributions of the past ten years, and highlights the various interpretations that have been proposed. Chapter Three studies prosocial values in religious societies based on social cognitive theory. Chapter Four draws on multidisciplinary research from psychology, sociology, computer science, education, and social work to describe cyber prosocial behaviors.
