Weatherby is Chair and Associate Professor in the Department of Public Policy and Administration at Boise State University. He is a co-author of The Urban West: Managing Growth and Decline. He is co-editor of the Idaho Municipal Sourcebook. He is a former executive director of the Association of Idaho Cities and was a member of the Board of Directors of the National League of Cities. He also has served on the faculty at the University of Idaho and Northwest Nazarene College. Randy Stapilus has been a journalist, political analyst and author in the region since 1974.
