Vijay Singh is a dreamer-poet in his leisure hours and a research scientist in professional work. At present, he is Robinson Chair Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at University of Kentucky, Lexington. His pioneering research work in solar cells, nanotechnology, electroluminescent displays and sensors has been published in 200 articles in scientific journals, and as U.S. patents.
