The adventure of Glenfair continues in the story of the android Pi. During the final battle of Glenfair the wires that fed power to her positronic memory were severed. Through a combination of human impulse and fate Pi is reactivated but does not remember anyone or who she is. Through reading the journals of Master Fields and Master Rollins she finds a new purpose in becoming the new protector of Glenfair. She will drift in and out of peoples lives through the centuries until she embarks on a perilous journey to solve a mystery that will unite the Sabatlol kingdom with Glenfair and usher in a golden age of peace. But sinister forces from and unknown source threaten to destroy that peace and enslave the people of Glenfair.
