Trudy Silverheels was born in rural Yavapai County, Arizona, in 1986 and spent her early childhood on a horse ranch there and in Albuquerque, New Mexico. At age eleven she accompanied her family on a two-week vacation to Mexico City. That vacation turned into a permanent relocation. Today she makes her home in Houston, Texas, but still maintains a winter residence in Mexico.
