Natalie Sierra was born in Southern California during the late 80's. Growing up in a harsh neighborhood, she witnessed the arrival of drugs and gangs to her small town. After college, she traveled up and down the coast of her home state, writing about the brutality of nature, and the arid beauty that can only be described as California. She currently resides in Southern California, with her three young daughters, who she cites as an inspiration for her as an author, a Latina, and a feminist.
