The story is science fiction, combined with adult humour and a slow burn love interest. It also contains an undertone message of man's cruelty to man, animal welfare and how we treat the Earth. The story revolves around Gary, a useless journalist but one who gets caught up with Emma, a female Science Professor. She is engaged in trying to discover what is causing the world's weather to be so destructive, but in doing do discovers that we are about to have a visitation. Using Gary to break the news to the world might not seem like a good idea but she goes with it. To avoid a spoiler, the story end game is when the visitor arrives and does not like what the world has become. It would be wrong to give more away and spoil the end for those who want to read it. It is 120k words long, which is many more words than I actually know, so I have used some of them over! Cheaper than a pint of beer and guaranteed not to give you flatulence, what's not to like?.
