ABOUT THE TEST Who Takes the Test and What Is It Used For? Planning to go to college? Then you should take the SAT II: Math Level IIC Subject Test in either of these cases: (1) Any of the colleges to which you are applying require the test for admission; OR (2) You wish to demonstrate proficiency in Mathematics. The SAT II: Math Level IIC exam is designed for students who have taken more than three years of college preparatory mathematics (two years of algebra and one year of geometry). Who Administers The Test? The SAT II: Math Level IIC Subject Test is developed by the College Board and administered by Educational Testing Service (ETS). The test development process involves the assistance of educators throughout the country, and is designed and implemented to ensure that the content and difficulty level of the test are appropriate. When Should the SAT II: Math Level IIC be Taken? The test assumes that most students use a graphing calculator, and having one at your side may give you an edge.
