Now retired, Chris Scott worked as a psychologist, psychotherapist, trainer and priest. Leaving school at the age of fifteen without any qualifications - and with undiagnosed dyslexia - he worked in a number of occupations including shop work, window-dressing, electrician, and the London Ambulance Service. In the mid-Seventies he spent four years as a Novice in the Society of Saint Francis. Ordained in 1981, he then went on to study psychology and psychotherapy. Chris was married to the Reverend Ruth Scott for thirty seven years before she died of cancer. Chris has two adult children. He is currently Honorary Assistant Chaplain to Winchester University.
