Kristin Russo is a writer, speaker, educator, and consultant. She is the author of This Is a Book for Parents of Gay Kids (Chronicle, 2014), and her work has been featured in Cosmopolitan , Time , BuzzFeed, The Advocate , and Autostraddle, as well as on NPR, The Boston Globe , Newsweek , The Ellen DeGeneres Show , Chicago Tribune , and more. Kristin is also co-host and producer of the podcast Buffering the Vampire Slayer alongside musician Jenny Owen Youngs, which was named one of Time 's Top 50 Podcasts of 2018 and selected as one of Esquire 's Top 10 Podcasts of 2018.
