The author was born in Brooklyn, NY in 1934. He joined the U.S. Air Force during the Korean war and served as a radio operator/mechanic for four years. After being honorably discharged, he obtained electrical engineering and science degrees from the Universities of Notre Dame and New Mexico and married his wife Anne. He was then employed in research at Sandia National Laboratories for 37 years. As an active Catholic parishioner, he taught catechism at all levels and served as adult education director for several years. He has been active in web apologetics for about 20 years.
