Carol Roth is the author of ten children's books. Her books have won a Children's Choice Book Award, a Missouri Building Block Picture Book Award, and a Parent's Guide to Children's Media Award for outstanding achievement in children's books. A former kindergarten teacher, Carol enjoys writing and teaching English as a literacy volunteer. She currently lives in New Jersey. Illustrator Sean Julian was born and raised in Pinxton, a small village in Derbyshire. From an early age he enjoyed printmaking and model making so enrolled at the region's creative melting pot.the Mansfield College of Art. Whilst there he decided to be an illustrator as the Illustration tutor encouraged him to do very silly pictures, which he found suited him to a T.

He then went on to The University of the West of England in Bristol where he started to concentrate on Children's Book illustration. He lives in Bristol and this is his second book for NorthSouth.
