Alex Ross grew up on children's books read in silly voices, with imaginative storylines and memorable illustrations. As a writer & filmmaker, he understood the versatility and power of a good story. What started as his first film, The Social Chameleon had a natural and important message to share as a children's book. With the help of the exceptionally talented illustrator Dani Pendergast, he set out to tell a story that encouraged the beauty of being boldly yourself. He hopes it becomes a family favorite for bedtime stories, just like some of his favorites growing up.
