Robert Rose Robert Rose is Founder/President of The Rose International Fund for Children- TRIFC. Rob started TRIFC in 2006 to help educate, empower and provide opportunities for people with disabilities in Nepal. In 1974 at the age of sixteen, Rob was chosen to be a Rotary Club exchange student and spent his junior year of high school in Calcutta, India, living with host families, attending school and traveling throughout the country. This unique cultural experience gave him a broader world perspective and continues to shape his life to this day.

Rob joined Bellevue Rotary Club in 1986 and is a past-president of the club. He was awarded the 'Service Above Self' award by Rotary International in 2007. In 1997 Rob read an article about an organization that was helping impoverished children living in Nepal. He felt compelled to call and volunteer as a photographer to help document the wonderful work they were doing. That one call started a cascade of events that has led to a volunteer odyssey spanning eighteen years and dozens of projects helping children and adults with disabilities in Nepal.
