Manon Steffan Ros is a full time author and playwright. She won the Drama Medal at the National Eisteddfod two years running, in Eisteddfod Genedlaethol Cymru a'r Cyffuniau yn 2005 ac Eisteddfod Genedlaethol Abertawe 2006. Her novel, Trwy'r Tonnau won the Tir Na Nog award in 2010, and her novel Prism in 2012. In 2010, her novel Fel Aderyn won the People's award at the Book of the Year ceremony, and her novel Blasu won the Fiction category in 2013. She has previously worked as an actress for theatre in education company Cwmni'r Fran Wen. Manon has also written numerous plays for Radio Cymru, and she writes educational shows for Mewn Cymeriad company.
