C. A. Rogers is Narsi. She supposes she called the book a novel because she didn't want anyone taking umbrage at her *possible* description of their part in her life. Her sister is in agreement. She also doesn't remember every conversation verbatim, and is positive she's got quite a few dates mixed up. However, the pertinent facts and events are, to the best of her knowledge true, and the underlying theme of her real father looking for her with his redemptive love is absolute fact. After thirty years in Scotland and England, and several moves around the United States, she now lives in Oregon with her ever-patient and hard-working husband.
Together they've brought up four brilliant children, who are now grown up and forging their own way in the world, and she loves each one of them with a passion she never knew possible.
