A microbe from the far reaches of the galaxy crash lands on Earth silently, rapidly infecting the planet's insects. Taking control of the insects, it uses them to transfer itself into the animal population, as well as a number of humans.Everyday activities on the planet come to a halt, as the virus takes control of everyone it can, spreading itself around and taking over. In the microbe's last stand, those humans who died from infection come back as hungry zombies, ready to rule the world.This is the story of those who tried to survive, and those who did survive.
