Hortense Longfellow and her partner Turk investigate the murder of four people who have different backgrounds but are tied together in an unsuspecting manner. Hortense finds that the trail leading to the murderer takes them down a path they never expected to find. She is a straight forward investigator and tells what is on her mind.
