Poems and photographs of hand made wings inspired by the song Blackbird and especially the lyric, "take these broken wings and learn to fly." These wings represent the stories of people rising above their struggles. My belief is that, whether our struggles are large or small, we all have broken wings and can all, somehow, learn to fly.
