Bill has lived in Alaska for over 45 years including several Territorial years. With a Bachelor degree in Biology and Secondary Education from the U of Alaska - Fairbanks and a love of the out-of-doors he has enjoyed Alaska as a single-engine private pilot, a Navy Search and Rescue navigator in the Aleutian Islands, an Alaska survival instructor, a public and private school teacher, businessman, and fisherman and much more. He now lives in Anchor Point, Alaska in a home in the woods built primarily from recycled materials.
