Fleetwood "Fleet" Racer learns he is to be the new Town Marshall of Shawnee Falls, Indiana. He knows the town, the people and the deputies he has worked with for years. What Fleet does not know is that there are time travelers living in Shawnee Falls and one of them is Mira, a woman he has just met. Mira invites Fleet to watch the first moving train robbery in the United States committed by the Reno Gang on October 6th, 1867, just outside of Seymour, Indiana. Soon after returning from his time travel experience what appears at first to be a simple burglary forces Fleet to return to 1867 to make sure the Reno Gang robbery occurs.or the modern world he knows will end.
