This is the book, as the brother of a homicide victim, that I was compelled to write. I am more at home in my shed working on a classic car than trying to be an author. However my aim is to tell my story, my way and to inform the reader of the devastation that a serial killer, had on myself, my family and anyone else unfortunate enough to come into contact with him. I am the only person that can put together most of the facts of the murder of three people, that this serial killer has been convicted of.However there is much much more to this story. I give an insight into those lives lost, the crime scenes, the raising of public awareness and the reward offered by the New South Wales State Government. I also tell of the nationwide manhunt that I undertook to achieve his apprehension and conviction. This killer is now eligible for parole for the third time and this book is part of my campaign to prevent this from happening.
I aim to create an awareness in the community of the failure of our legal system and those who should serve us. I strive to give a voice to the families of homicide victims and support our right to have as normal a life as possible. A life that other members of society enjoy. A life that does not have to endure the constant threat of a serial killer being released, by an uncaring legal process. A process that places more consideration on the legislated rights of the offender than the rights of every day citizens.
