Vivian DeRusha Quantz, daughter of a LIghthouse Keeper, was born in Ashland, Wisconsin in 1929. Her father served in various lighthouses in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan including Whitefish Point in the beautiful Tahquemenon Falls area at Paradise, Michigan. GOLDEN WINGS IN SKY was adapted from a story her Father told of Indians living in this area many years ago.
