A historical novel set in the last decades of Queen Elizabeth 1st's reign and the first of King James's. It centres on Miguel, a man of curious origin who arrives washed up on the South Coast of England after the Armada and is befriended by William Shakespeare. Intrigue and skullduggery ensue.
