Now back in North Wales after four years in Grand Cayman, in the Caribbean (proof positive that no good deed goes unpunished) Terri Beckett is married with one son, three cats and one grandson. She loves to read - anything, in a pinch. It's an addiction. She loves classic SF, history, travel, and animals. She's been writing for as long as she can remember, but first teamed up with Chris Power in the '70s to write fan-fiction. After some time (and several awards!) they branched out into writing their own brand of cop-stories, and from that, to writing fantasy and historical fiction.Among Terri's other interests is working for the Cats Rescue charity, especially in her local area.Chris Power started creating stories not long after she mastered joined-up writing, somewhat to the bemusement of her parents and her English teachers.
But she received plenty of encouragement. Her dad gave her an already old Everest typewriter when she was about ten, and it was probably the best gift she'd ever received - until the inventions of the home-computer and the worldwide web.Chris's reading and writing interests range from historical, mystery, and paranormal, to science-fiction and fantasy. She refuses to be pigeon-holed and intends to uphold the long and honourable tradition of the Eccentric Brit to the best of her ability. In her spare time [hah!] she reads, embroiders, quilts and knits. In the past she has been a part-time and unpaid amateur archaeologist, and a 15th century re-enactor.She currently lives in a small and ancient city in the south-west of the United Kingdom, sharing her usually chaotic home with an extended family, three large dogs, a bearded dragon, sundry goldfish and tropicals.
