Amiram Porath has been involved in Innovation projects and activities for over 25 years. He managed two start-ups in technology incubators, other start-ups under private financing, established the EU office at Tel Aviv University where he developed national and international R&D consortia. His PhD in management focused on the R&D cooperation between Industry and Academy. He has led standardization efforts regarding critical resources management as part of his environmental activities and has been consulting CREST and the Israeli Chief Scientist Office regarding the cooperation between industry and Academy. Familiarity in the outlooks of Industry, Academy and Government as well as national and international innovation systems is pushing forward his writing. For the last three years he has been focused on the management of three national programs, as well as the environmental activity and entrepreneurship coaching. In 2008, he received the title "Cavaliere" from the Italian republic.
