Karen was educated at Balmoral Hall School, Winnipeg and Queen's University, Kingston. She has been around dogs all her life and this story examines her family's experiences with their dogs, centering on one special dog, Sasha. Retiring in 1995, she spends summers in the Niagara region of Ontario and winters in Florida. Writing a book was on her Bucket List !.
