Elizabeth Philipone is Associate Professor of Oral Pathology at the Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, New York; Assistant Attending at the Columbia University Medical Center (CUHC, Inc, Section of Hospital Dentistry); and Associate Director of the Columbia Oral Diagnostic Biopsy Service. Dr. Philipone gained a B.S. Biology (magna cum laude) from Seton Hall University, South Orange, NJ in 2000 and her DMD from the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey in 2004. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology. Dr. Phlipone has extensive clinical experience in oral and maxillofacial pathology.

She has also conducted research in the field and has published approaching 20 articles in peer-reviewed journals. Angela J. Yoon is John W. Richter Associate Professor of Clinical Oral Pathology at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, New York; Assistant Attending at the Columbia University Medical Center (CUHC, Inc, Section of Hospital Dentistry); and Associate Director of the Columbia Oral Diagnostic Biopsy Service. She is also Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology Residency Director, Columbia University College of Dental Medicine & Columbia University Medical Center. Dr. Yoon gained her DDS from Columbia University, School of Dental and Oral Surgery in 2003. She is board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology.

Dr. Yoon has served as a peer reviewer of original articles and case reports for a number of leading journals. She is the author of a total of 26 original articles, case reports, and book chapters.
