Humphrey Phelps lives in Westbury on Severn in Gloucestershire and is the author of a number of titles on rural matters. In addition to a series of books on the Forest of Dean published by Amberley, Humphrey has also written about the East Coast of England. Other titles include Victorian and Edwardian Suffolk.
