What are you afraid of? The truth is that everyone is afraid of something to a certain degree. Some of our fears are merely a nuisance while others are so paralyzing that we would do almost anything in order to avoid confronting them. But what would happen if all of those efforts failed and we were forced to face our deepest terrors? Teenage friends Jamal Williams, Grayson Stone, Robert Caldwell, and sisters Kelly and Cynthia Blake find themselves in that very situation when they unwittingly stumble upon The Book of Fear and become trapped in its diabolical world where nothing is as it seems. Desperate to escape this alternate dimension, they soon come to realize that the only way home is for them to face and conquer their deepest fears, not only to save themselves but their friends as well. Throughout their ordeals, interpersonal relationships are challenged and healed, and faith in God is strengthened or reawakened. The Book of Fear is a story of the bonds of true friendship, the strength of courage amid grave trials, the force of sacrificial love, and most of all the enduring power of faith in God. In the end, victory is found in the biblical truth that "perfect love casts out all fear.".
