Author of the upcoming children's picture book, Kind Soup, Jean Petersen is a graduate of Colorado State University, member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators, and Women Writing the West. With more than 20 years of professional writing experience, Jean recently released a cook book titled The Big Sky Bounty Cookbook-Local Ingredients and Rustic Recipes. She and her family live near the Beartooth Mountains on a small farm in Montana. She has a bachelor's degree in illustrations from Swansea Metropolitan University and focuses on work primarily aimed towards creative children's literature. She is at her happiest with a pencil or paint brush in hand and is represented by The Bright Agency.
