ANDREA PERRUCCIO began as a Lecturer in Italian Language in Finland (Jyväskylä University) and spent the rest of his career as a high school teacher in Prato and Florence. Residing in Florence, he presently works as an independent scholar on Greek and Latin literature, and on the history of cinema. In his many publications, he skillfully combines the Classics with twentieth-century Italian cinema, specifically on Pasolini and Fellini. His latest publications include: "La ricezione del poeta satirico Lucilio nell'Africa romana" (Rheinisches Museum, forthcoming); and "Pasolini traduttore dell'Agamennone di Eschilo" (Cabiria. Studi di Cinema).
