Mr. Charles Patton is an accomplished writer of non-fiction, fiction, plays for film and radio, and a newspaper column. His first book, Colt Terry, Green Beret, published by Texas A&M University Press in 2005, introduced Charles to his first extreme leader. His appreciation of Colt Terry's leadership as one of the original Green Berets, coincided with his parallel interest in reading about the intrepid Arctic, Antarctic, and African explorers of the 1800s as well as other extreme leaders of history. He has a BS in Mathematics from the University of Illinois and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Chicago. He is a public speaker and consultant in many fields concerning leadership, marketing, and technology across diverse industries, including hospitality, real estate, higher education, and internet marketing and sales.
