Dario Paladini received the Doctor of Medicine degree (cum laude), in 1986, and he specialized in obstetrics and gynecology, in 1990. Both during and after his studies, he participated in various training programs that are Fetal Echocardiography--Guy's Hospital London, U.K., in 1988, Gynecologic Oncology--Istituto Nazionale Tumori, Milano, Italy, from 1990 to 1994, Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Gateshead, U.K., in 1992, and Fetal Surgery--Fetal Medicine Unit, Poissy University Hospital, Paris, France, in 2006. In 1991, he joined the OBGYN Department, Federico II, University of Naples, Italy, to work on high-risk pregnancy, fetal medicine, and gynecologic oncology. Since 2013, he has been the Head of the Fetal Medicine and Surgery Unit, Gaslini Children's Hospital Genoa, Italy.
He is a member of major National and International societies of OBGYN and Ultrasound. He has been contributing to the development and updates of national (SIEOG) and international (ISUOG) societies of OBGYN Ultrasound. For ISUOG, he is the Board Member, the Chair of the Education Committee, the Chair of the Courses Committee, and the Chair of the Task Forces on Neurosonography and CHD-CNS Lesions. He has taught and spoken at 100 of training courses, and congresses worldwide. He was an External Counselor for the set-up of the Fetal Medicine Unit, Dubai Hospital, Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), from 2018 to 2019. He has authored more than 200 articles in peer-reviewed high-impact factor journals. He has received the Top award in the world for training in OBGYN Ultrasound, and he received ISUOG Stuart CampbellAward, in 2011. Since 2019, he has been the Chair of the Stuart Campbell Award.
