Roads lead somewhere, they were built to transport people or goods from one place to another. As they carve a path through the countryside they tell a story at every stage - the story of how man overcame the obstacles of the terrain. This set of photos was taken in rural mid-Wales and Herefordshire and shows a variety of landscapes that the photographer passed through and captured on his way somewhere to do something.
