The publication of this book was the culmination of a dream that I have held for years: to help young people overcome the challenges associated with their physical disabilities, and be less likely to become another unemployment statistic.Being an adult with Cerebral Palsy who has experienced both success in the educational system and challenges pertaining to securing employment prompted my interest in post-secondary vocational issues within the physically disabled community. My experience and that of others I've spoken with who want to go on to college are what led me to write this book. I want students with disabilities to know that they have reason to hope for a bright future in the workforce!.
