Jason Nelson is the pastor of The Tabernacle, a thriving ministry in Windsor Mill, Maryland near Baltimore. He has served in this capacity for more than a decade while also being a global figure in the music industry. His love for worship developed in church at an early age where he began as a singer and musician. Eventually, he would become the minister of music developing the ability to compose and lead others. Today, Jason is a sought after voice in the Gospel community. An acclaimed singer and song writer, Jason has received a Stellar Award in addition to being both a Grammy Award nominated songwriter and Dove Award Nominee. His award winning worship has birthed several songs and albums which have landed at #1 on Billboard charts. Jason's career spans decades and throughout the journey, he has amassed knowledge that benefits the global community of musicians and worship leaders.

He has been married to his wife, Tonya Nelson, for 23 years. Together, they have 2 children, Jaelyn, Paris and Jason Christopher.
