Rosina Neginsky teaches Art History and Comparative Literature at the University of Illinois. She is the President and founder of the international organization Art, Literature, Music in Symbolism and Decadence (ALMSD), and is a 2008 recipient of the University Scholar Award of the University of Illinois. She is the author of Zinaida Vengerova: In Search of Beauty. A Literary Ambassador between East and West (2004, 2006), of Salome: The Image of a Woman Who Never Was (2013, 2018), of numerous articles on Russian and European artists, poets and writers, and of books of poetry. She is the editor of several books on Symbolism, the most recent of which is Mental Illnesses in Symbolism (2018).Marthe Segrestin is Associate Professor (Maître de conférences) in Comparative Literature at Sorbonne Université, France. Her research focuses mainly on European theater at the turn of the 19th into the 20th centuries, and more specifically on French, Scandinavian and German theater.Luba Jurgenson is a Professor at the Department of Slavic Studies at Sorbonne Université, France, Director of the Research Center Eur'e(tm)ORBEM (Center of Interdisciplinary Research on Central, Eastern and Balkanic Europe), and a member of the editorial board of the magazine Memories at Stake.


She is the author of Is the Concentration Camp Experience Unutterable? [L'e(tm)expérience concentrationnaire est-elle indicible?] (2003); Creation and Tyranny (2009), and The Gulag: Testimony and Archives (with Nicolas Werth, 2017), as well as numerous articles. She is also the editor of several volumes on the twentieth century memory of historical events and on Russian Modernism.
