Just when they thought life had settled down, the Mulligans are back for another epic adventure! Flying to Africa with Dad to help an orphaned baby elephant sounded exciting to Nick and Lisa, but their travel itinerary wasn't exactly clear on all the other challenges they would face. Sure, meeting new friends and seeing exotic animals is fun, but the African wild - especially at night - proves to be far more thrilling than they'd bargained for. It's almost enough to make a Mulligan want to stop being so independent and adventurous. (Almost!)Speaking of going it alone, Stephie and Janelle learn a lot about lions - specifically what to do and what not to do when working around a lion cub and his very anxious mother.Meanwhile, Jessica and Janelle ask themselves the question identical twins everywhere have always wanted to ask: What might happen if we switch places to help each other out in school? In answering that question, the two girls rediscover an old truth: The cover-up is always worse than the crime. Good thing the Mulligans have plenty of grace and love to share.
