In a continuation of Dust in the Wind, Yesterday's Gone begins on the road where Dust ended in August 1960, then progresses through May 1961. Yesterday's gone, is a story of the tender but tumultuous relationship of teenagers in a time when the old rules were beginning to change, Rock and Roll was king, sexual frustration was boiling, the bomb could go off any moment and the future seems bleak, at best.
