Gordon Rennie Gordon Rennie is one of 2000 AD ''s most prolific creators, with co-creative credits for Caballistics, Inc. , Missionary Man , Necronauts , Storming Heaven , Rain Dogs and Witchworld . Rennie has written for Heavy Metal and Warhammer , as well as Species , Starship Troopers and White Trash . Rob Williams Rob Williams is the writer of Suicide Squad and Martian Manhunter for DC Comics, Unfollow for Vertigo and Doctor Who: The Eleventh Doctor for Titan Comics. His previous work for 2000 AD includes Judge Dredd: Titan , The Grievous Journey Of Ichabod Azrael (And The Dead Left In His Wake) and The Ten-Seconders .


Robbie Morrison Robbie Morrison is one of 2000 AD ''s most popular writers, having co-created The Bendatti Vendetta , Shakara , Shimura and Vanguard , as well as being one of the select few writers to have chronicled the adventures of Judge Dredd in 2000 AD and the Judge Dredd Megazine . He is also co-creator of fan-favourite strip Nikolai Dante , which won an Eagle award for ''Best Character'' in 2002, beating Judge Dredd to this accolade for the first time in almost twenty years. In the US, he has written Spider-Man''s Tangled Web for Marvel and The Authority for DC/WildStorm. His and artist Charlie Adlard''s critically acclaimed graphic novel White Death has also been hugely successful in both Europe and the US. Pat Mills Pat Mills is the creator and first editor of 2000 AD . He developed Judge Dredd and is the writer-creator of many of 2000 AD ''s most popular stories such as Sláine , Nemesis and A.B.C.


Warriors . Amongst his credits are Marshal Law (Marvel and DC Comics), co-created with Kevin O''Neill, the French graphic novel series Requiem, Vampire Knight with artist Olivier Ledroit, and Be Pure! Be Vigilant! Behave! The Secret History of 2000 AD and Judge Dredd . Al Ewing Al Ewing has been a Judge Dredd aficionado since the age of nine, and is best known in the UK for his work on Dredd in 2000 AD , where he also co-created Zombo and Damnation Station . In addition, Ewing has written various novels for Solaris and Abaddon Books, including The Fictional Man , Pax Omega and Gods of Manhattan . His work in American comics includes an acclaimed run on The Immortal Hulk for Marvel and We Only Find Them When They''re Dead for Boom! Si Spurrier Simon "Si" Spurrier writes novels and comics. His work in the latter field stretches from award winning creator-owned books such as Numbercruncher , Six-Gun Gorilla and The Spire to projects in the U.S. mainstream like Hellblazer , The Dreaming , and X-Men .


It all began with a series of twist-in-the-tail stories for the UK''s beloved 2000 AD , which ignited an enduring love for genre fiction. His prose works range from the beatnik neurosis-noir of Contract to the occult whodunnit A Serpent Uncoiled via various franchise and genre-transgressing titles. In 2016 he took a foray into experimental fiction with the e-novella Unusual Concentrations - a tale of coffee, crime and overhead conversations. He lives in Margate, regards sushi as part of the plotting process, and has the fluffiest of cats. Simon Coleby After starting his career as an inker at Marvel UK, Simon Coleby made his debut at 2000 AD in 1989, working on Future Shocks , Universal Soldier & Rogue Trooper . A favourite amongst 2000 AD fans, he has gone on to illustrate Judge Dredd , Low Life and Jaegir . Simon has also produced work for Games Workshop, DC Comics and Vertigo, for whom he co-created The Royals: Masters of War with fellow 2000 AD alumni, Rob Williams. Dave Taylor Dave Taylor began drawing comics professionally for Marvel UK after many failed attempts at being a rock star drummer.


He was head hunted by DC to work on a Batman one shot with Grendel writer/artist Matt Wagner, going on to work predominantly on Batman titles such as Batman: Shadow of the Bat (with Alan Grant), Detective Comics , Batman: Black and White and others. His collaboration with graphic designer extraordinaire Chip Kidd on Batman: Death by Design became a New York Times best seller (twice). Taylor''s acclaimed adult only series Tongue Lash grew from his friendship with French comic Master Jean "Moebius" Giraud, who Taylor also worked with on an Arzak story. He has also produced work for TV, movies and the games industry and is presently employed by the United States Space Force as an extraterrestrial translator. Richard Elson Richard Elson''s first 2000 AD work was on a Future Shock way back in 1988, and since then he has pencilled Judge Dredd , Time Twisters , Terror Tales and Tyranny Rex , as well as the co-created strips Atavar , Roadkill , Shadows , The Scrap , A.H.A.B.


, Go-Machine and Kingdom . He has also worked for Marvel Comics on Thor , Morbius: The Living Vampire , Amazing Spider-Man , Journey Into Mystery , X-Force , Revolutionary War and Marvel Zombies . Patrick Goddard Patrick Goddard''s clean art style has graced many strips in the Galaxy''s Greatest Comic. Co-creator of the Megazine series Wardog , he has penciled Judge Dredd , Mean Machine , Middenface McNulty , Sinister Dexter and took over the art duties on Savage from Charlie Adlard. Kev Walker Kev Walker is the co-creator of Badlands and The Balls Brothers , and has also provided artwork for Dan Dare , Judge Dredd , Future Shocks , Harlem Heroes , Mercy Heights , Rogue Trooper , Time Twisters and Tor Cyan . For the Judge Dredd Megazine , he wrote The Inspectre and has illustrated Judge Anderson , Mean Machine and Wynter . Sam Hart Sam Hart is an artist with more than 30 years experience drawing comic books, fanzines and stories with characters such as Judge Dredd, Power Rangers, VR Troopers and Starship Troopers. He has drawn graphic novels with Robin Hood, King Arthur, Joan of Arc, the 16th century pirate Grace O''Malley and also The Coldest City , written by Antony Johnston, that was adapted to film in 2017 as Atomic Blonde , with Charlize Theron.


He was born in England but now lives in sunny São Paulo, with his wife and two daughters. Paul Marshall Paul Marshall co-created The Corps and Firekind , and has also pencilled Judge Dredd , Mean Machine , One-Off s, Sinister Dexter , Tharg''s Future Shocks , Tyranny Rex and Vector 13 . His other work can be seen in Harris Comics'' Avalon . Cliff Robinson Cliff Robinson is one of 2000 AD ''s longest-serving artists, having made his debut with a Future Shock way back in Prog 362! Since then, he has co-created Mother Earth , and illustrated numerous Judge Dredd strips, as well as Future Shocks , Judge Anderson and Venus Bluegenes . Smudge Smudge co-created Chiaroscuro with Si Spurrier and has also provided art for Dan Abnett on Sinister Dexter . David Roach David Roach joined the art Droids at 2000 AD in late 1986 after studying Fine Art and Philosophy at art college, going on to draw Nemesis the Warlock and Judge Anderson for five years. In the ''90s he was one of many artists enticed over to America where he drew Star Wars and Aliens for Dark Horse, Star Trek for Wildstorm, Cadillacs and Dinosaurs for Topps and numerous strips for DC including a lengthy association with Batman which he both drew and inked. Much of the late ''90s was spent drawing Dungeons and Dragons illustrations for Wizards of the Coast, but he returned to British comics in 1999 with work for Panini''s Doctor Who Magazine where he still draws or inks the comic strip, and is the company''s Principal Graphic Novel cover artist.


The new millennium also saw a return to 2000 AD where he drew Judge Dredd , Synnamon and in 2016 returned to Judge Anderson in Prog 2000. Away from comics, Roach has created artwork for records, advertising, storyboards and countless commissions. He also lectures in art and enjoys an alternate existence as a fine artist working with life-models to create large scale drawings of the nude.
