Sun Made Flesh and Fiber : Meditation Is Not Dreaming Toward Home
This is James Moore's third book of select poems and original art. Written in a variety of styles and moods, the poems here are a mix of the obvious and ordinary, enigmatic and evocative, silly and sublime, prosaic and poetic in various home-grown forms, from broken prose to haiku, and Dr. Seuss-like rhymes. As a long time resident of North Central Washington with interests ranging from the esoteric dzogchen teachings of Tibet to the pug at his feet, these poems express a vivid sense of place, both locally and existentially.
