Clement Clarke Moore (1779-1863) was an American academic and poet who is best known for the poem "A Visit from St. Nicholas," now more commonly referred to as " 'Twas the Night Before Christmas." P.J. Lynch is the author-illustrator of The Haunted Lake and The Boy Who Fell Off the Mayflower, or John Howland's Good Fortune.
