Niamh Moloney (PhD, MManipTh, BPhysio, SMISCP) is a Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist, Yoga Teacher and Pain Researcher. She practices in the Channel Islands, UK, but also holds an Honorary Fellow position with Macquarie University, Sydney, where she was previously a Senior Lecturer. A passionate advocate of evidence based practice, she has over 50 peer-reviewed publications from her pain-related research. Her increasing appreciation of how yoga philosophy and practices can help address some of the complex aspects of pain and its care has lead her to integrate yoga into her clinical practice and has ultimately inspired the writing of this book. It was here where she first developed an interest in learning how to care for those in persistent pain. She quickly realized the supportive container yoga held for people engaging in pain care. She has incorporated pain science education and yoga as part of her clinical care and teaching for nearly a decade. Marnie owns and operates a private physical therapy and yoga practice, has been an instructor for International Spine and Pain Institute, and an Education Contributor for Yoga Medicine.
